KHP Books is the result of a merger in 2010 by Skullvines Press (founded by S.D. Hintz and Jerrod Balzer in 2007) and Black Death Books with S.D. Hintz of Skullvines taking over as CEO. All parties felt that by combining their resources, both houses would benefit, and from the success they’ve reached in the short amount of time since the merger, they were right. KHP has branched into other imprints such as Blasphemous Books, Violet Ivy Press, Scarlet Petals Press, and Retro Rocket Press while keeping the originals going strong. Their focus is putting out quality over quantity, standing behind each title released and supporting the authors responsible as valuable members of the company.
KHP was incorporated at the beginning of 2012.
